This place is a true gem for breakfast lovers in Spokane! We walked in and fell in love with the atmosphere right away: everything is decorated with such taste and care — cute little details on the tables, warm lighting, thoughtful touches everywhere. You can really feel that the owners put their heart and soul into it. The portions are absolutely huge! Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection: fluffy pancakes, perfectly poached eggs, crispy bacon, and the coffee — hands down one of the best I’ve had lately (and they refill generously without you even having to ask). The staff is pure gold! Our waitress was incredibly friendly and smiley, explained the menu beautifully, gave great recommendations, and made sure everything was just right. Not a single “wait just 5 more minutes” — everything came fast and with genuine warmth. We left happy, stuffed to the brim, and already planning to come back the very next morning. If you’re looking for a spot that’s delicious, cozy, and feels like home — this is it! 100% recommend to anyone who loves great breakfasts P.S. Grab a table by the window — the street view adds such a nice vibe

I had a girls day brunch with a few friends, saw that this place served brunch/breakfast, and decided to try it out. The parking lot was full, however there were 4 spaces available when we arrived. There were a few people waiting outside for their party to be called for a table, and there are several people waiting inside. They have a couple benches and a few chairs to wait on. The gentleman greeting everyone at the door and writing our group name and number of people was friendly. We had around a 20 minute wait time (not bad for 11am on a Saturday). Our table was clean and cozy with a view of the outside. The colors and decor were warm, inviting, and charming. It felt as if I was eating at a friend's house. Our waiter was wonderful. He was super friendly and attentive to our needs and checked to see how the food was. He made sure everything was perfect. Our food was absolutely delicious!! It came out in a timely matter. The wait time went by quickly with great conversations between friends and from the lively atmosphere. I ordered the Hearty Breakfast Combo so that I could have a taste of a variety of foods with one dish (which came out on two plates). The hash browns were buttery, crispy on the top, and soft in the middle: perfect! I ordered my eggs scrambled, which were very tasty. I chose a toasted English muffin for my toast (they had a choice of white, wheat, and sourdough bread or an English muffin). I asked for my bacon to be extra crispy....they delivered my request perfectly. It also came with thick sausages. The Belgium waffle was so good!! It wad whipped butter on top and I added some of their homemade strawberry jam syrup (tasted like the yummy freezer jam friends and family used to make years ago!). For my drink, I decided to try a hot cocoa... absolutely delicious! It was rich and creamy with a generous scoop of what appeared to be homemade whipped cream. I definitely want to return to try other breakfast options as well as their lunch menu. I 100% recommend Cottage Cafe!

This little breakfast spot is Spokane Valley gets PACKED! With good reason. I didnt wait as I sat at the bar but there was a wait, so arrive early! The coffee is strong as is their breakfast game! I had the country Benedict. Delicious! Crispy yet soft hashbrowns. A very welcoming fun atmosphere at this place. Service is very good as well. I will definitely be back to try more of their menu, including the gigantic cinnamon roll that went by me as I was inhaling my food!: D I had a great experience here. It also helped thatl a very nice woman paid for my meal, and I paid it forward at the coffee shop. Thank you sweet stranger. Bless you! Its appreciated! So in conclusion...Go to Cottage Cafe! Its great!

We were in town and headed to the airport and found this spot. Highly recommended. The coffee is solid. Huge portions. If you like pancakes, these were solid. I ordered chicken fried steak and it was cooked great. A lot of beef and lightly floured. My son had the breakfast sandwich with bacon and all was done just right. I was skeptical when another reviewer said the coffee was great, but for me, it turned out to be correct. I drink it black and it was a solid 3 cups. We’ll be back!

I'm a breakfast extremist! It's my favorite kind of food over all. Cottage Cafe is by far the best breakfast place around! I now know why the wait to get a table on the weekends is long!!! If you haven't tried this place, do it!!! Everything we ordered was delish!!! This will be our go to breakfast place! Wish I would've gotten pics before hand, but it was that good!!! These guys know what they are doing, everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection!

Awesome breakfast/brunch cafe. Really good food and plenty of it. Classic breakfast menu with a couple options for brunch. Their strawberry syrup is to die for! The only downside is this place fills up fast, it’s not a big building.
